When sending edits please include in the Notes section your documentation or source. If you don't send documentation the edits may be declined. Do not need documentation for plot locations.

Please do not post death certificates, draft cards, census records, and other such documents on my memorials. Memorials are not family trees. Thank you.

I do not add copy and paste obituaries, that is a copyright violation.

I do not use a military rank unless the veteran died on active duty or served over 20 years, per military protocol. No one went through life as Private or PFC.

Please do NOT colorize B/W photos I have on memorials and then add them. I prefer to keep the originals.

If you have your messages turned off then do not send me a message. Use the editing system to contact me.

From the Community Rules:
"Do not post, transmit, or display content which is protected by copyright or trademark or that does not belong to you and that you do not have authorization for use from the owner of the copyright or trademark, including but not limited to PHOTOS, ***published obituaries***, and other information posted in memorials." This means we are not to copy and paste published obituaries.

Keep in mind Find A Grave is owned by Ancestry.com and is not the place to create an alternate family tree. Creating a memorial when the burial site is unknown just to link family members is not in keeping with F/G guidelines. I do not link to unknown burials.

If requesting management please use the proper method of requesting. If you don't know the proper procedure please read the Help section. Using the private message system is not the correct way.

Grave photos I take can be used for your family records without asking me, that's the purpose of Find A Grave. If used on another F/G memorial please ask me first. Any family photos I have placed on memorials can be used in your trees or memorials as long as you note I own the originals. Any biographies I have written are copyrighted by me and cannot be used without my permission. If I just transcribe the highlights of an obituary no permission is needed to use it.
