Bio Photo Hi....My name is Dennis and I enjoy going to old Cemeteries because they hold alot of forgotten family history.
I look for graves that has no Memorial on Find A Grave and I create one knowing that somewhere someone is looking for this person.I also take photos of Head Stones to Post.

I'm looking for family members by the names of Love,Bice,Adams and Sperbeck in Ray and Clay counties in Missouri at this time.

Any photos I have posted can be used by anyone as they wish.

I will transfer any Memorial I have created as long as you are related to the person.

RE: Adams Family
A friend I made on this Adams line several years ago, Barbara Bush told me she thought they were there too. She said there are several Adams buried in a row that had Peonies on their graves, in that row there were two unmarked graves except for the peonies, she always thought that that might be their graves.
I would appreciate you letting me know if you find anything. I am frustrated by the fact that they lived in Knoxville most of their lives and there is no record of their death.
There has been no mention of any of them ever returning to their homes in NC. I wonder if their parents had already died when they left that area.
Sue Alexander before she died told me that her half sister had gotten the Adams Bible and it had writing in it, but she was unwilling to share what that might be. Since then she has died but I wonder if her sister is still living? I dont know her name. She would have been the daughter of Clay Adams and his second wife. Her name might have been Doris or Linda. Sis you know Sue Aleander?

RE: Adams Family
James just disappeared Dennis, or at least none of the Ray county historians have any record of his death, for that matter , of Catherines either. My guess is hes buried in the Union Cemetery with a lot of other Adams. I know this, on the Census records it says James was born in Tennessee in 1799, married Catherine in NC and had 4 or 5 kids there and came to Ray county on an oxtrain in 1837 with several other families. They names their first settlement Buncombe and then a couple of years later changed it to Knoxville where they both probably died. James died or disappeared about 1846 or 7. Your Grandfather was Born on
20 Feb 1847, is that right? My husband descends from Benjamin Franklin, his older brother.

RE: Adams Family
husband is related to you, however he passed away on June 21 1013. I am familiar with your line, I just posted pictures of Mary Jane and William Bice on familysearch.org
I have worked for about 30 years on the Adams family of Ray County MO. My husband had his dna done and we connected with 1 person in NC.
my email is rose15adams@gmail.com
I am also on FB so you could message me there. my page has a picture of me and my bearded white haired husband Roy. NOt the medallion one or the santa one
I am not familiar with the Bice line. but the census should be able to help with that. We descend from Benjamin Franklin Adams and Lodusky Jane Cummins Adams. Both born in Ray County. Benjamin is a son of James Adams and Catherine Thomas that came there in 1837. In all the years I have not been able to find out who their parents are, the person my husband connected to descends from a James Asa adams from Alamance COunty NC. SO I am still trying to find James and Catherine's ancestry. If I can help please let me know. Rose Adams sorry I took so long to get to you, I made a major move to the mountains of Idaho after my husband died, I still haven't unpacked everything.

This is a duplicate of an entry in Zion Lutheran Blackburn, MO. She is buried in the Zion section of the Blackburn Cemetery.
Her maid name is spelled Reith. The Wright is the old German spelling.

Blaylock family - Olive Branch Cemetery
Hello again Dennis,
As I was looking at the interments in Olive Branch Cemetery, all of the Blaylocks in Olive Branch are related to us, as well as Glenda Blaylock Fletcher (the baby of the family).
James Robert Blaylock and Susan Cochrane Blaylock had 10 children, only one still living. All the others except for one came home to be buried in the cemetery of the church where they grew up.
The younger ones are all cousins of my husbands (he is now the oldest of the living first cousins.)
If you would be willing to transfer these memorials, we would be more than grateful to take care of them
Thank you,
Joyce
