I was born and raised in Minnesota, lived in Missouri for a few years and now am a transplant to Illinois. I have always had a deep interest in genealogy and this is what first brought about my interest in cemeteries and taking pictures of headstones. I started by taking the pictures of my grandparents' graves as well as their parents and their siblings, then it gradually grew bigger and bigger. I now look for people I either know personally, someone I can connect back to someone I know personally or someone of special importance or significance; I work on it as a hobby in my spare time and am now working on my 6th photo album of headstone pictures. People who have a findagrave memorial and whose headsontes I also happen to have in my collection I have uploaded. I hope to be able to communicate with others who live elsewhere and can get pictures of other headstones I cannot reach due to the distance.
