I guess like most of us I wish I spent more time asking about my family history when I was growing up. I wish I saved all the those irreplaceable family photographs. Maybe now I can help save some family info for others before it's lost forever.

Note: From the find-a grave Insider: September 2021
"The memorials added to Find a Grave® not only document the burial locations or dispositions of those who have passed on, but also memorialize and celebrate their lives."

Obituaries accepted, if available, please provide source. When I create a memorial I try to gather as much information as possible. We owe the dead at least that much for a lifetime of achievement. When I take a gravestone photo I remove leaves and dust and if the photo is a little crooked I straighten the image with Picasa (free software).

If you want to improve one of my memorials by adding family links or information, related or not, I'll gladly transfer it to you. This is not a numbers game. One good memorial is better than 20,000 with just a name and date of death. Feel free to use any of my photos.

Finally, God bless all of you for taking the time to create so many beautiful memorials that will last long after the headstones become unreadable. Keep up the good work and enjoy.
