Request re picture you uploaded

You'd uploaded a picture of the dual headstone for Admiral Jonas Howard Ingram (memorial #6798726). The same headstone has information on his wife Jean Fletcher Ingram. I'm updating information on his wife (her parents etc) and was hoping if you would be so kind to upload the picture of the dual headstone to her memorial (#49263723) please? Thank you very much and have a great day.

Hi Bill,

The GPS coordinates for Paul Vario put his resting place in a neighborhood east of the actual cemetery.

Not sure if you can correct it or not but thought I'd let someone know.

Arlington National Cemetery Memorial
Hello Bill, You set up a memorial for Henry Aristo Wiley - Find A Grave Memorial# 6905664. It is now maintained by Find A Grave. I am not sure how or why that happened. I wanted to include in his biography his obituary. When I clicked on the "Edit" tab as I do for my contributions, on his memorial, there is no option for "Suggest any other correction or addition". So I typed the obit into the "Marker Transcription" tab, the only means by which I could communicate with the manager of this memorial. It was rejected because the information was in "the wrong data field". Are we not allowed to contribute to Arlington burials. I have done so before with other family members. Do you know why Henry's is different or is this a new policy or just why this is. I know you no longer manage this memorial - did you transfer ownership to Find A Grave or did they take it from you. I just would like to understand the situation. Very sincerely. Ardith

Joseph Lanza
Hi Bill,

I saw your memorial of Joseph Lanza at Calvary Cemetery on Findagrave. I have been to that cemetery many times and have looked for the Lanza grave in Section 48 and I have never come across it. Would you remember where it is located? I could swear that I scoured that section many times and have come up empty.

Thank you for anything you can tell me.

I am the gr. niece of "Adm. Ed" and would be glad to take over the maintenance of his memorial. I added the names of his parents today. You did a great job on his memorial and I have even more info and photos which I would like to add.

Is # 49163933, LCDR Robert Emmett Carney, hs father? He mentions in a memoir that he was a Navy Junior and LCDR Robert E Carney, USNA 1889 may be the one. I am trying to check with the Alumni Association and records at

His nickname really was "Mick" as attested by this excerpt from a memoir of him.

I have heard CAPT joe Taussig, his son-in-law, refer to him by this nickname. I think that he was of Irixh ancestry which may explain the nickname. A check of his bio in the the class of 1916 Lucky Bag will confirm this as does the USNA Register of Alumni

Memorial# 6610493Admiral Harry D Felt
His son Donald Linn Felt was my Naval Academy classmate. I added a link to Harry D. to Linn's memorial, which I maintain, as his paternal link. Somehow a paternal link to Linn was submitted for Harry D's memorial to make Linn his own grandfather. I looked up the parents of Harry D. as confirmed by his Wikipedia biography and submitted the correct parental links just now.
