|Susan S||Musician from NYC on USS Colorado|
I found your virtual cemetery for the Colorado and I have a question. One of my ancestors served as a musician on the ship in the early 1870s and I'm trying to locate records on him; he didn't die at sea. He was from Turin, Italy. I believe he either came to New York as a teenager and was a street musician until he joined the Navy, or he joined the ship when it was in the Meditteranean during the early 1970s and came to the US that way.
Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.

|Henry Jeanneret||John Armstrong|
First and foremost, thank you for your service to this country. I have great respect for you.
I saw that you had created/greatly contributed to the grave of a John Armstrong, who is my third great grandfather. I strangely have had little success finding his parents. I've found possible census records, but despite having both his birth and death dates, I have not found a birth certificate, and his parents are not written on his death certificate. Anyhow, I was wondering if you had any more research regarding him?
|Don Bedwell||memorial 51937181|
can you please explain why you posted paintings of these ships on his memorial?
Thank you for the biographical information on Robert Allen (buried at Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore). I'm not very interested in information about the ship he served on, as FindAGrave bios are supposed to about the person. Is there a place I can link to where people who are interested can learn more about the ship?
Also, out of curiosity, how did you get the bio on there in the first place? I don't remember an edit or a prior request to add something.

would you like to add?
|Chris Collins||USS Patapsco|
In the St.Annes Cemetery in Middletown is Reynolds Driver, who was assigned to the USS Patapsco, when it sunk. He survived the war but died in 1866 due to the wounds he suffered that evening.

Not sure why there's a plat map in the space provided for grave photos? Would you please remove that?
|John P Vickery IV||P.S.|
I have 6 more categories of known relatives that would also fit in :)
