Bio

*** Well, after an aortic dissection almost a year ago I'm finally getting back on Find-A-Grave. It's going to be slow going for awhile. I REALLY don't check my email as often as I should; it's been a long recovery. If I haven't responded to an email or a message, PLEASE resend. We're starting from scratch here, folks. Thanks for understanding. -Shandril 10.1.16 ***

"May the Smile of Bast be upon us in Life, and may the Hands of Anpu be upon us in Death, as the Light of Ra shines upon us Always. So Mote It Be!" -Shandril oc Arran, High Priestess

I love the peace and quiet of cemeteries, walking among the tombstones and really making myself think about the folks lying beneath my feet. What were they like? Who loved them? Who are they now?I also enjoy genealogy and being a Find-A-Grave contributor has served a two-fold purpose for me. Not only and I able to make online memorials for my loved ones, but I've also been able to provide photos of the final resting places of others' loved ones. This reciprocation of energy with like-minded folk at F-A-G is very gratifying; no matter our separate walks of life, our diverse backgrounds, we all come together in common purpose to make sure the Dead are remembered.

My family names include: Ashworth, Byerly, Calvert, Cathey, Chamberlain, Coleman, Driskell, Dudley, Hull, McClanahan, Moxley, Kirkpatrick, Lyons, Palmer, Purdy, Schneller, Smith, Teeter, and Walters.

Blessings and much thanks to fellow contributors that have been able to photograph the graves of my family members!
