I'm a freelance writer and native of upstate New York. I love old cemeteries; the Albany Rural Cemetery is my favorite. My dog, Pepper, and I spend several days a week exploring there.

Our Lily: The feathers of your love are found all around, near the cemetery and all through the town. I look to the sky and I find on the floor your feathers of love I truly adore.

I know you are near, I feel you are here, close to my heart my LOVE is sincere.

Your Lewis Benedict Memorial

I love your memorial on Lewis Benedict (fallen civil war officer). While exploring the internet I discovered this particular item that Iv think that you might enjoy.

Anneke Bogardus
It seems many of us have found our ancestor. I want to thank you for listing her and a photo. There are so many things that you may want to add to her memorial. She was the neice of King William of Orange; she had a family. Would you be willing to add this information if I sent it to you? Thank you again!

Thank-You so much for listing Anneke Bogardus.I am a direct line descendant of Anneke through the Brouwer and then VanNote line. I had no idea of where she was buried.I was thrilled to see her listing and the photo that someone put on.
