Bio

I was born in the Midwest, but have lived most of my life in the south. I was stationed in Germany for a time, and have otherwise done a little travel to Europe and Asia. I spend far too much time on the computer, enjoy a good frappuccino, and I ♥LOVE♥ cats.

My primary family names are Sullivan, McCoy, Withee, Fredendall, Washburn, Nesbit, Schmidt, Petersen, Meyer (Meier), Markman, Pease, Millikan, Donnan, and still counting.

I view the memorials on this site as living tributes to our loved ones. I strive to "reunite" them with family, and if I am able, to add a personal detail or two about them.

Photos

You are welcome to use any photos which I have uploaded for your personal family research work, but please do not use them for commercial purposes. The photos I upload are intended as gifts for the families of the deceased with no regard for personal profit, with the exception of the honor of providing them, and I wish for this to be respected.

Photo Allotments

We are allotted 20 photo requests per week. I am requesting for everyone to please use your allotment. Memorials you manage, memorials I manage ~ it doesn't matter.

Headstone photos may assist in providing confirmation of birth and death details, marriage dates, children, spellings, and might even lead to the discovery of additional family members.

Requests fulfillments also provide a small reward to our volunteers who often drive several miles to obtain a photo. I have so often seen where someone will request a photo, and then ask for the volunteer to take a photo of their spouse too, without submitting the request for the additional photo. Why?

It's much easier to request 20 photos in a cemetery that it is for the volunteer to drive out, take them, edit them, caption them, and post them. While I do try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, it is nice if you also request them, so please take the time to request them and please try to remember to use your weekly allotment.

Suggestions, Corrections, and Transfers

I generally adhere to Find A Grave transfer request guidelines, but before requesting, please keep in mind that even a "starter" memorial involves effort to create and I am more than willing to accomplish edits. Also, if a transfer or edit request comes off as pushy, arrogant, demanding, or rude, do not be surprised if you are ignored.

This site was created as a means of helping others, and not intended as a means to criticize, harass, bully or badger. Be kind to your fellow volunteers as we are all trying to achieve the same goal of helping others.
