Good job, very nice! I don't know anything about Utica or how to go about figuring out which cemetery there. I'll keep poking around though.

I made a memorial for Elmer and transferred it to you.
Oh shoot, I put the wrong bio information on Elmer. You will need to go in to the "edit bio" link and correct it. The link is directly below the bio information paragraph.
Do you know what cemetery Orrin is buried in?

Well Hi cousin! One of my closer cousins has our family line back to three people from the Mayflower we are related to, so we get to be real big snobs! lol I leave flowers on as many Scovill people as I can because at some point I feel like all these branches started at one point and spread from there, so we are all related.
If you have the information to make the memorials for Orrin Benjamin Scovill and Elmer Henry Scovill, go ahead and make them! It's easy or send me the information and I'll make them and transfer them to you.

|Emmalo Coody||Scovills continued|
Paul, when I wrote the previous message, I had not done any personal research. Now that I have, I have found that Orrin's sisters, Sarah Bass and Lucy Scovil, were both born in New York - not in Connecticut. I have not verified previous siblings' places of births, so your comment that Lemuel went to Lewis Co., NY, earlier than 1809-1810 may be correct. I shall appreciate any corrections to my data.
Paul, I descend from Erastus's brother, Hinsdale, born in 1810 in NY. Their sister, Lucy, was born in CT ca 1809. Therefore, it appears that Lemuel and family moved to NY between 1809 and 1810.
Do you have research for this family. I have very little.
