Bio

I live in Worcester, MA and enjoy having a reason to get out and do something to help others with their genealogy or family connections. I have found that Find A Grave has been such a helpful tool in my own genealogical research, and I like to think I am showing my appreciation.

I have subscriptions to Ancestry, GenealogyBank and NEHGS and would love to help anyone needing local look-ups.

As for obituaries due to a change in FaG policy I will accept them according to FaG policy: "Find a Grave does not discourage the legitimate indexing of the deceased through obituaries or other third party accounts. Newspapers represent a very good source of information as a public record. We ask that those who index and memorialize the deceased from newspapers and other third party accounts do so with full respect of copyright, refrain from adding information about living people (e.g. survivors) to protect their privacy, and respond generously to the family of the deceased." I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

I am very happy to transfer any of my Find a Grave Memorials to anyone who has a logical reason to take them on. Please feel free to ask.

Lately, I've been working with a small group of other volunteers, photographing Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

Lastly, I apologize for the poor quality photographs of some flat stones. I include them if some information is legible, in order to recognize the burial. Unfortunately, I am just physically unable to clear soil, grass and debris from the numerous stones I come across. Please send in a photo request if a better photo is needed.
