Bio

I had a dream the other night a delivery truck pulled up to the house and was unloading some huge boxes and crates, four in all. I am watching as they are being loaded into the house and then I saw PARR Cemetery stamped on the side of one of the crates. My friend John was just about to open it and I screamed "Don't open it"... and I woke up!

I was born in Ottumwa, Iowa raised in Munterville, Iowa then moving to Blakesburg, Iowa and on to Muscatine, Iowa. Find a Grave has helped me bring my family who lived before me together. My Great Aunt Dr. Stella Pearson, D.O. (Aunt Teddy) enjoyed going to the cemetery to clean up, decorate, and tell me the stories about each family member we visited. I have found so many of my family because of our early trips to the cemetery. I just wished I had taken notes when she was telling the stories of family history. I put in a request for a picture of my father's grave over seven and a half years ago and no one ever bothered to take a photo for me. Four hundred miles later I had his picture and many more. Today my passion is to fill as many photo requests as I possibly can for those who need that last family photograph. I am getting good at finding a grave and the walks are wonderful!

I have entered several cemetery records from online sources on snow or rain days so if I have any of your family no matter the relationship I will transfer just ask me and I will make it happen. Please provide your contributor number.

If you want multiple monuments photographed, please take the time to create a memorial for each person rather than attach a message to one request asking for multiple photos.

Family First,
Christine Masterson
