RE: Webster Kenney
Thanks for letting me know. I got that one backwards! (There are a lot of duplicate records in this cemetery.)

re: photo of Spring Hill Cemetery (Charleston, WV)
several of my family, friends, neighbours are buried in Spring Hill Cemetery Park. You have posted a photo of the cemetery's sign with the mausoleum which seems to automatically appear when this cemetery is listed as the interment location on any memorial.
the cemetery now has a beautiful new sign which i prefer to use, and i ask you to please remove the above described cemetery photo from the memorials i have created or manage.
thank you.

You have pending for approval Edits for Benjamin Kerchner #21821563
I sent you the requested changes for Benjamin Kerchner #21821563. They are still Pending. Check your Edits messages in the category of Edits pending your approval. Since they were not getting attended to, I requested the transfer of Benjamin to me to maintain as part of my Kerchner family research and activities. But if you approve the Edits I sent you (two of them) which contain the additional information about Benjamin Kerchner, all will be fine.

Thank you.

Thank you for the transfer of my grandparents memorials
Thank you for taking good care of them and allowing me to care for them now. :-)

I hope all is well with you and your family. Would love to catch up. If you are on Facebook you can find me there and I am now active on Ancestry now as well. Maybe we can collaborate?

Take care cousin! <3

William S. Wright

I would like to ask your permission to copy the obituary you placed on William's memorial so that I can add it to our family tree? His memorial number is: 20361250 I also just added an edit for his family links to his parents. He was the brother of my husband's grandfather.

Thank you,

RE: Leon (Jeff) Lago
Thank you for adding the additional information to Leon's memorial page.

RE: Leon (Jeff) Lago
I did some further checking. I asked about the newspaper article. There had been a typo, and it was from 1897. Lena Steinblock Mau's headstone also says 1897.

I do not know if Leon (Jeff) and Lena were officially adopted or not, but they both went by Lago. The 1910 US Census says they were Paul Lago's adopted son and adopted daughter.

Leon (Jeff) Lago's and Marie Mau Gottsch's obituaries list each other as siblings. Other family trees on also support that August and Lena Mau were Leon (Jeff) and Lena Lago's biological parents.

RE: William dickson
I would just leave it like it is as it is Dickson on the tombstone. You might just mention in the bio section that the family spells it 2 ways. As you can see his father's name is spelled Dixon. And so are other members of the same family. Very strange indeed.
Thanks, Carolyn

Mattie Mae Summerville
Mattie Mae Summerville was my mother's biological mother. She was the first wife of Charles Henry Cookinham, and they had 3 daughters -- Helen Elizabeth (1898-1985); Hattie (Harriet) (1900-1992); and my mom Leah (1902-1988). Mattie was only 25 when she died. She had contracted polio and went to Des Moines for a radical new procedure -- pulling her legs straight to get rid of the polio. She died on the operating table, as the strain was too much for her heart and left her husband with 3 daughters under the age of 6. Charles remarried a year later and his second wife was Prudence Summerville, Mattie's younger sister. Charles and Prudence had 1 child, Gertrude (1906-1985).
