Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website, secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site, tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.

I will be happy to add info/links to any memorials. Thanks to all that have submitted info, docs, flowers or pics to the memorials to preserve our families. Thanks to everyone who has tried to find stones and found unmarked graves.

I firmly believe we are all God's children and are linked by this belief.

James J Crabtree #182481039
I just got his and wife, Brina death certificates to confirm if I was correct on his parents before I would ask for a transfer. They confirm I was correct. His Father was my 3x great grandfather, Wm. Crabtree #182481039 mother, Nancy Fuller #183018838
I created their memorials. I believe Brina is in my Brackett ancestry also. Mother of 14. Would you please transfer them to me. James J Crabtree #23194039 Brina C. Brackett Crabtree #23194018
Thank you, Diane Find A Grave #48631527

Matthias M. Davis
Hi Logan. Matthias M. Davis was my 3rd great grandfather.

His daughter, Cynthia Jane Davis married James “Big Jim” Massey. They were parents of Jacob Matthias Massey.
Jacob and his wife Artie Mae Chambers had Lina Mary Massey (my grandmother).
Lina Mary and her husband James Thompson had Twila Sue Thompson (my mother).
Twila Sue Thompson and her husband Ronald Yarolem and they had me (Cynthia Yarolem).
I married Lawrence Bender – thus my name is Cynthia Bender.

I am trying to prove that Matthias was the son of Charles Crow Davis and Cynthia Shaver. Since he died so young, there is very little out there. Do you have any records that could help me out? The only proof that I can find of his existence is a 1950 United States Federal Census which lists him, his wife, Cynthia, and his son, James.

I am doing this to prove that he is the great grandchild of Van Davis (A Revolutionary War Patriot). You can look Van Davis up on Find A Grave – Find A Grave # 5199370. I would appreciate any help that you could give me. Thank you so much.

Essie Lena Miller Cantrell
Hi Logan,
On the memorial for Essie Lena (Miller) Cantrell you have the following in the Bio section:

31yo d/o John Miller, married, died from hydrothoracic and acilis???? after 18 days.

Wondered where the name of John Miller came from for her father?

I show her father to be Perry Morgan Miller and her mother is Eliza Annie Lamb. She had a sister named Birdie/Bertie Miller that married a Ward, and second a Bilby. Please see the following:

------1900 Buttersville, Allen Co, KY, ED 4, pg 10B - Perry Miller, wife & 2 daughters, Essie Lena Miller and Birdie Miller.
------1910 Brogdon Twp, Johnston co, OK census, ED 118 pg 19B - Perry Miller & wife Liza A., son-in-law Gill J. Ward and daughter Bertie/Birdie, & grandson Willie C. Ward.
------1920 Wilson, Atoka Co, OK, census, ED13, pg 9B, Perry M Miller 57 b. KY, wife Eliza A. 60, 2 grandchildren Lyle Cantrell and Berthia Cantrell; above Perry is their widowed daughter Bertie Bielby whose second husband Ernest Bilby had just died, and Bertie's children Nellie Bilby, and Willie C. Ward;

I am getting ready to create a memorial for Perry Morgan Miller because I have searched and not found one. Someone did create one for the Perry Miller that died in Shenandoah, VA. but that one died in April not August, and it is not the correct Perry miller.

Please let me hear from you on the John Miller reference you have. Thanks a bunch, Kathy Heaton Wells.

Transfer request
Hello ... Could you please transfer memorial 32140558 (Namon Thamar Bohannon) to me. I was the oldest brother's close companion and friend for the last 10 years of his life and am working on their family tree. I would like to get all their memorials in one place, so to speak. Thank you in advance.

Margaret O'Dell Bohannon
I am fairly new to this site and am researching my family history. I noticed the confusion at the end of Margarets story about death, marriage etc...

Maybe this will help....??

In the History of Laclede, Missouri, it shows Margaret O'Dell Bohannon's 8th child to be Margaret as well born in 1847 and is the one who died November 9, 1873.

Margaret O'Dell Bohannon is shown to have died April 10, 1874.

Just some info I found while Reading about my 4X Great Grandmother. :)
