I am an amateur historian at heart. After I discovered the Find A Grave website, I felt much gratitude to those who served as contributors. I feel that visiting a gravesite is a way of paying my respects to someone, either famous or non-famous, for having contributed to our history. I appreciate Jim Tipton's Find A Grave website as a means of permitting many people to do that without incurring significant expenses. I also look upon this website as a source of historical reference material. For these reasons, I decided to become a contributor of text and photos. Because I have developed a great interest in Japan in recent years, I have sought to have that nation well represented. In this regard, I have gotten much help from Mr. Akira Komatsu, Suwa-city, Nagano, (L) and Mr. Daiju Omura, Yokohama-city, Shinagawa, (R) who have unselfishly assisted me with research and permitted me to contribute pictures of theirs to Find A Grave. I also thank Dr. Mark Jewel of Tokyo's Waseda University for the use of several of his pictures.|

Please do not post scanned articles / scanned obituaries to memorials. This is against find a grave policy, and I do have them removed.

Sorry for the years of delay. When I visited the cemetery he had just been put to rest. In Sicily they put a temporary face until a stone face is complete. I also learned that in about 30 years his remains will probably be removed to make room for another. He being a celebrity and a very important person in the village of Polizzi may be able to stay in this place for much longer.

Again, you are VERY welcome!

|Deborah Zimmerman McCoy||RE: Rev Daniel D. Elmore Jr.|
You're VERY welcome!
I knew Pastor Elmore from the Ohio Baptist General Convention. He was one of our teachers in the Congress of Christian Education. I also know Anita, she and I graduated from Central State University. Plus, she and my cousin, Marilyn Zimmerman are good friends.
Thanks so much for transferring James Cazy to me.

Further, I seek to build a complete Tuskegee Airmen Cemetery (Pilots & Ground Personnel) which will eventually contain thousands of Tuskegee Airmen. Therefore, if you have, or, know of, additional Tuskegee Airmen, please also let me know about them and transfer them (also, let your family, friends & associates know about this).
Once again, thanks very very much for your assistance.
