Sarah Huff Peterson
Hi Pamela,
Do you have any additional information about Sarah's parents or siblings. I am searching for Solomon Collver/Culver's wifes' family. Her name was Elizabeth born abt 1790 in Somerset, NJ. Lived and maybe died in Seneca County or Seneca Falls. We have evidence that she is related to the Petersons and Greenleafs. I haven't found that she was a Peterson so now I am searching to see if she was a Huff.
Regards,
Dale Collver

Harriet Peterson Crippen
Pamela, I saw your flowers from 2013 on Harriet Peterson Crippen's memorial and the info you wrote, "for my 1st cousin 5x's removed. Harriet Peterson daughter of Cornelius Peterson & Maria Post;born 1835 Fleming, Cayuga,NY." I just wanted to suggest that the Harriet Peterson Crippen in this memorial was the wife of Chauncey (aka Chancy) Crippen and daughter of George Peterson and Mary Parcells, not a daughter of Cornelius Peterson, Jr. and Maria Post. George and Mary did have a daughter named Harriet Crippen who would have been born around 1839 (according to the 1850 census). George's parents were Cornelius Peterson, Sr. and Hannah Parsell so George was a brother of Cornelius Peterson, Jr.

Regards,
Roger

Petersons in NY State
Hello Pamela,

I see that you are descended from Cornelius Peterson and Hannah Parsell, too? I saw your message on the page for his son, Jerome Peterson, too. I didn't know if you had ever visited their graves? I was in that area last month and went to the Sand Beach Cemetery in Fleming, but it doesn't appear Cornelius and Hannah have any existing headstone. I also searched for Jerome's stone in the old and new cemeteries on Chapel Street near Mt. Morris, but they don't appear there. I think Jerome is actually buried in the Riverview Cemetery, but I was told by the Town Clerk that there are no records for the older cemeteries. I didn't know if you had ever visited Sand Beach or Riverview and found any headstones for either Cornelius or Jerome? Thank you.

Casey Memorials
Hi Pamela-

I transferred the Casey memorials where you had added pictures over to you. Please let me know if you want any others.

I also added the obituaries that I found for a couple of them (Sophia Doring Casey and E.S.E. Casey). If you want them I can e-mail them to you.

Adkins Casey is buried at Lakeside (with Eda and Adkins Burnel). This cemetery is not 82% complete - the percentage only refers to the how many of the listed individuals have pictures.

I've been going through this cemetery by section and I have been (slowly) adding memorials when I have time. I completed the oldest section first and have been going through another section (I'm almost done with this section and someone else had done part of this section a few years ago). I tend to take a bunch of pictures in the spring/summer/fall and then in the winter when I am stuck inside, I add the memorials or pictures if someone else has created the memorial without a picture. Adkins is listed in the cemetery transcription book in a section that I have not gone through yet.

I will go ahead and add Adkins and then take pictures in the spring when the snow melts.

Please let me know if I can do anything else!
