Bio and Links
Bio Photo A cemetery is not a place just to bury the dead. It should be a sacred place for quiet reflection, peace, tranquility, honor, and remembrance. It is a history of people and a perpetual record of yesterday.

Love begins with a smile...grows with a kiss...and ends with a teardrop....

I will not use chalk, shaving cream, brake fluid or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions. Please do not use these on any photo requests I make, Thank you so very much.

Although FINDAGRAVE can be very useful for genealogy, FINDAGRAVE, as the name implies, is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site. I try to use this as my guide when on this site.

I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial because I am still actively looking for where the person is actually buried. This site is named Find a GRAVE for a reason.

I, Gary Boughton, give you permission to use any photo I have taken if you are kind enough to give me credit for the photo. (Everyone likes to recognized for their time & effort) Thanks so very much.

Thank you!
Hi Gary,

Thanks very much for helping me with two of my genealogical projects by linking the family members I requested in the Newtown, Sandy Hook and New Milford cemeteries.

If not for your work I would not have known where all of those people were buried.

I appreciate your hard work, help and kindness!

Best regards to you,

Steve

FAG request fulfilled
Gary,

Thank you so much for providing a photo of George McEachron's tombstone as per my request. It is much appreciated by me and by George's descendants who I am helping complete their family tree. Your volunteering to provide this photo is gratefully appreciated.

Bruce Howe Vail
David C. Vail tombstone
Thanks for posting the photo of the David C. Vail tombstone.

Vail is one of my ancestors and I lived nearby to Peach Lake as a kid. I may have seen this grave site when I was very young -- in the 1960s -- but I have no recollection of it.

There are a bunch of Vails buried in North Salem. There are quite a few at the June Cemetery, which is quite close to the Peach Lake Cemetery.

Transfer of Mem#43707454
Thank you for your consideration in transferring my great uncle's memorial to me. I have been able to enhance his memorial with ease, as well as to create an in-text URL link to my maternal grandfather. Thanks for the enormous work you do for Find A Grave.
