Bio Photo Frankie Lee Zakrzewski(pictured at left) memorial page.

Thank you as always, for the kind tokens and remarks you have left for my loved ones.

In 2016 I had two major events affect my life.

On April 13, I was in an accident and broke my leg quite badly. I had surgery and a "halo" i.e. external fixator was attached to my leg with 10 metal rods running through my leg to hold it in place. In October it was removed in another surgery, and as of this writing (Dec. 2016) I am now in physical therapy. Because the break was right below the knee, it was a very tricky situation but fortunately, it healed well.

On January 9, our beloved older male cat, Frankie Lee, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. As in many cases with kidney disease in cats, he became ill and passed away quickly, within a span of about two and a half weeks. We adopted him as a stray adult and he lived another 9 years after being diagnosed FIV+.

He so enjoyed being in our family and having a yard and other pets to love, especially our girl cats. In his last couple of years, he stepped up to the task when we adopted a 10 week old kitten my sister found on an exit ramp of I-10, stopping traffic. Frank was so cute, following little Lola around as she wore her harness and leash. Like an attentive grandpa, he would monitor her every move. He cheered her on as she stalked bugs and stepped on her leash if she went too far or got into trouble. When Lola was rescued from a tree, he ran after her and smacked her upside the head. She never did that again!

He seemed to want love, a family and a home so desperately and it was my honor to provide that for him since 2005. His companionship, love and kitten-rearing assistance was worth more to me than all the money in the world.

So I do apologize for my inattentiveness to all of your memorial pages and for your tokens to my loved ones. All of you are in my prayers for a successful, sorrow-free and happy New Year.

Warmest regards from your friend,
Miss Morgan

RE: Fur Babies loved forever
All gifts that I give are freely given with no expectation of return, but Buddy loves bones so thank you for your kindness. Mollie, age 16, his pal of 11 years, just joined him at the beginning of November, so I know he's in good company.

I'm sure that Heaven is full of dogs and cats. They are far more loving than many people. It's the human beings that I often have my doubts about.

Merry Christmas, or whatever good greeting is appropriate for you and your furbabies!

Fur Babies loved forever
I can see from their memorials that you loved your beautiful feline fur-babies the way I loved my beagle-boy. He died just before your Roxanne so I'm sure he welcomed her to the bridge. If you want to see him, here is the link to his memorial:
