Howdy from Texas!

When I am not able to go out and photograph memorials, I contribute by transcribing inscriptions here and at other sites. I also submit obituaries to archiving sites, worked a bit with local USGenWeb sites and others.

If you find yourself in need of a photo and haven't been able to get it, let me know and I will try my best.

If I am related to the memorial I manage, you can find more information about the person at my family tree - www.OURFAMILYFOREST.com
Currently it's only showing direct ancestors, more will be added once I get that part completed.

CEDARVALE CEMETERY BAY CITY:
Carol Gibbs has asked me to upload headstone photos from the USGenWeb site to FindAGrave memorials that do not have them. It will take some time as I will also add memorials listed there that are not already here at Find A Grave, and when possible I will connect family members. This started in March 2022, and there are many, so please get with me if you are looking for one and it's not up yet.

CHURCH OF IRELAND CEMETERIES UPDATE:
With the help of my mother, I have finished the memorials and added the photos taken by John Gardiner of the following Church of Ireland cemeteries:
Aghadrumsee St. Mark's, Clogh Holy Trinity, Magheraveely old, Galloon.
If you are looking for someone not listed, let me know and I will look into it. John stated that there were many headstones that are no longer there and quite a few that were so degraded there was no lettering present.

MESSAGE TO ALL:

WHY I DO THIS:
The reason I contribute to Find A Grave, is purely out genealogical necessity. Many people can now find out so much about their distant relatives just by coming here and other similar sites. I cannot travel to all the places my family is from and go to courthouses etc, and most others can't either, which is why I am thrilled that the online community is growing so large and so quickly, especially the DNA facet. I have found and connected with so many new "cousins" that I enjoy through Facebook now. We are all able to share what we have found and I hope that something that I have come across will help others in some way. With Find A Grave, I hope any memorial that I create will give long distant family members the ability to "visit" the grave in a way, add photos, share stories and leave messages for other family members that find their way to the memorial.

TRANSFERS:
I AM NOT one to "collect" memorials and will be happy to transfer any memorial to family members, I highly encourage it actually. I would LOVE to transfer to someone who IS family. In the mean time, I happily manage them until they can be claimed by loved ones.

ERRORS: If you see any errors on a memorial, please let me know and I will investigate it and get it straightened out. I hate seeing errors in my tree and then being spread online so I know how disheartening it can be.
