I work in the commercial broadcasting field as a meteorologist. I started out in broadcasting at the age of 15 years old as a disc jockey at what was then WWWB-AM that was owned by the Bankhead-Grant family of both state and national political fame. I am also a licensed amateur (ham) radio operator, callsign; WX4ALA and I am very active in emergency communications.
