Bio

Hi everyone,

Family history and genealogy are two of my passions. I'm hoping to connect with the descendents of my ancestors and relatives.

I do this for love of family, and especially to honor my grandmothers. I was very close to both of them. It was their own love of family and the tales they had to tell that have inspired my passions.

Any research or photo that I've posted at Find-A-Grave may be used for any non-commercial purpose (family trees, personal use, etc.). Please don't forget to give me credit though, if you do decide to re-post my research data or photos elsewhere on the internet. I would truly appreciate being acknowledged for all the work and time I've contributed.

A great deal of my maternal and paternal lineage can be found in my list of virtual cemeteries to the right (the better for cousins to find me too-LOL!).

My thumbnail photo is four generations of my maternal lineage taken in AUG 1964 in Soquel, Santa Cruz Co., CA on the occasion of my great-grandmother's 80th birthday. Clockwise from bottom left: Bessie "Monnie" Evelyn (née Dean) Price Higginbotham [my great-grandmother], Dorothy "Dodo" Evelyn (née Price) Lampton Lawson [grandmother], Doris Marion (née Lampton) McSweeney [Mom], and me. I was thrilled to have been chosen to be in the picture as three are the firstborn daughters, and in my family I was the fourth girl born in a row-LOL!

I'm disabled and don't travel easily, so any help will be greatly appreciated!

MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Best Wishes,
