It bothers me so to see people ruining the integrity of such a valuable tool as "Find A Grave," by posting multiple listings of the same cemetery, cemeteries that don't exist or just guessing that someone might be buried in a given cemetery. I have photographed several hundred cemeteries in Northeastern Conn. Mass. and R.I. and only once did I find a cemetery that wasn't already listed. Even then I researched it and the people entered in it for several months before adding it. I have over 700,000 gravestone photos and have photographed many cemeteries in their entirety, I use the "Hale Collection" done in the 1930's as my bible. If your marker request is older than a 1932 death date and not listed in the "Hale" census, you can be 999.9% sure it doesn't exist. If the marker wasn't there then or was unreadable, how can you expect someone to find it now? Being so, I'll no longer fill requests for anyone who abuses the integrity of this site. PLEASE do us both a favor and check with the Hale Collection before entering a request older than 1932 or adding a new cemetery as most likely if its in the Windham, Tolland, New London, or Hartford Counties of Connecticut its already listed, could be just under a different name than you might have. There are some cemeteries that have had name changes or even have several names. Quite a few older cemeteries have even been moved and combined with others. If your still unsure or having a problem, I'll be glad to help you research it. Thank You. The link to the "Hale Collection" is...http://www.hale-collection.com/index.html

USE OF PHOTOS: All photos on Find A Grave are copyright protected and permission is needed for even personal use. Those who strictly prohibit the use of photos for any and all reasons have no place in posting them in a public forum. But I myself have restricted the use of my photos because of a very few who abuse this site and have taken my photos only to post them as there own. This site should be left to we addicted genealogists who believe in helping each other out. After all, were all brothers and sisters through Adam and Eve. Being said; Even though I mark my photos copyright protected, their use for personal reasons is granted as long as their posting to your site meet one of two conditions. My newer photos have the copyright disclaimer already watermarked onto the photo, and although adding "Photo by brianz190" somewhere would be a nice gesture, if its already on the photo, its not needed. But for my older photos where there's no watermark, permission is granted as long as somewhere it credits me ( "Photo by brianz190" )as having taken the picture. I apologize for those few photos I've placed a watermark across the face of the monument, But that was done because I know that's a photo sought after by one of those few abusers. Photos that you will be using for personal use and you will "NOT" be reposting anywhere online/and those you will use for printing are available on request without the watermark. Thank You for understanding.

PHOTO REQUESTS AND INFORMATION INQUIRES;
I have over a 3/4ths of a million gravestone photographs, Keep that in mind when sending me a message or e mail. Its almost impossible to figure out who your talking about if you don't send me the full name, (and or maiden name) dates of birth and death, cemetery their in, and photo number on my photo if there is one.

"NOTE" Due to the mess "Ancestry" has made in combining cemeteries with like names, I'll no longer be filling requests in the Old Westfield or Westfield Cemeteries, Danielson, Connecticut. Questions or comments about duplicate entries you see in the Westfield Cemetery should be directed to Find A Grave or Ancestry, as they are the ones who combined Old Westfield and Westfield which are two different cemeteries. An Update as of 25 Sep 2015 Old Litchfield and Litchfield Cemeteries in Hampton Connecticut can also be added to the list I'll have nothing to do with from now on. Blame Ancestry for merging two different cemeteries yet again. Thank You
