I'm a published author whose chosen genre is recent military. I, myself am a Veteran and Veteran's advocate. I write stories to put the memories of our fallen more to the front (instead of hidden) of people's minds and hearts.
I look at our National Cemeteries as opportunities to teach the next generation(s) about respect, history, and love for our country. We should never forget at what cost our freedoms are enjoyed in this country, but it seems many have.
Heritage is important, and knowing where we come from is priceless. We all will leave our marks upon this earth in unique ways, leaving stories behind as well. Make sure they're good ones.
