I am not related to 99.9% of my memorials and a few hundred were transferred to me by a retiring graver.

I follow the guidelines set by Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case by case basis. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request. I don't respond to the requests. I either make the transfer or I don't.

Folks, please remember that birth dates from census records are shaky at best. Using them here is an unwise practice and could lead to us re-writing history.
