Are you related to Mary (Sharp) Smith (findagrave 82026040)?
I recently found a "footstone" at the base of her grave monument with the name "George" on it. I can find no record of a George Smith. Perhaps a child who died young? Any thoughts?
PS There was also one there for her father-in-law Silas E Smith

I am descended from John's father-in-law, Solomon Allen. So, I have not researched John's family much. I did find him in the 1850 census. His father is John G. Winsett (43), mother is Mary Winsett (38) and he has a sister, Mary L. Winsett (10). John is 13. His father was born in Va. and was a boot and shoemaker.

Hi! You have a memorial for Lillian Winsett, #79512859. She had a sister named Rose who died in 1931, also unmarried. If you or anyone knows where Rose Winsett is, please let me know. Thanks.

Please transfer all graves you manage in this cem to me as so many are trying to manage this one lonely cem that it is all messed up.
I have restored and tried to maintain it for the last 30 years fought the surrounding land owner with a lawyer and Some Idiot that went in and destroyed trees and placed all kinds of markers and removed old tombstones just to score points with SCV.
The Union Co, SC Jackson and Murphy families are quite large and much incorrect info out there thanks to some well meaning folks.
Don't mean to come down on you but I keep placing info out there and somebody keeps removing it.
I have spent thousands trying to get this cem right and hopefully you will do the right thing about this matter.
