Bio

I became serious about Family History after I retired from teaching, some 14 years ago. My mother-in-law is the family historian for the Crow, Jackson, Wood(w)ard, and Morris sides of her family and has massive amounts of information and pictures. With my amateur photographer husband, we wrote two family history, self published books. They were well received by our family, especially because they contributed to the books.
As for my family--they have a Mormon background and the majority of their family history is done. My family names that I work with are Burt, Palmer, Clark, and Ewing. I belong to the Ewing Family Association. Geographically, I concentrate on St. George, Parowan, Grantsville, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Since we love to travel, we started taking "genealogy junkets" to talk to family, and to photograph cemeteries and grave stones. We have over 25 relatives buried in Pine Haven Cemetery, in Halfway, Oregon and 13 buried in Roy Cemetery, Roy, New Mexico.
We hope to continue our genealogy trips and add more grave stone photos to Find A Grave.
