Hello, I'm Karen,my family is originally from Donegal,Ireland.They settled in Pennsylvania and Michigan. My Great Great Grandfather was General John White Geary.He fought in the Civil War. He later was the Mayor of San Francisco .The Geary Street there was named for him. Also the Governor in Kansas. Eventually he returned to Penn.,where he died. I am also the descendent of Captain Mathew Geary and Com. Woodbridge Geary, both buried in the Catholic Cemetery on Mackinac Island.I'm from Michigan as well, and now live in South Carolina. I adore animals and antiques. (I happily collect both)
