I have always been a cemetery fan since I was a kid. I find them so peaceful. I like Finda Grave because you can show your respect to the famous and not so famous. I am 52 years old. I am a special education teacher assistant.

Thomas Jefferson Bennett
My name is DeAnna and I have been doing my family tree on my mothers side. Thomas Jefferson Bennett was my Great Gmothers brother.. Mattie Eva Bennett-Tyner was my Grandmother. I have been trying to figure out how the Bennett children became orphans and why the moved in with the (Cochrum family)? William Monroe Bennett and Georgia Wyatts died within a year of each other. The children had many family of Bennetts and Wyatts as well in the area. Any info. would be greatly appreciated..
We were told Thomas J Bennett died from influenza while in the Army.
Do you have any history of the Bennettís or Cochrumís?? Iíd love to exchange information!
Thank you for your time

'Walter Baring' messages...
Mr. Brown,
Thank you for your kind words about my father, former Congressman Walter Baring. Even though he passed away a long time ago (1975), I still miss him dearly.
By the way, I just recently changed his marker, (located in the Masonic Memorial Gardens - Reno, NV), which I felt was more fitting than the previous one, which only honored his WWII service in the Navy. The new marker focuses on his 20 year congressional career, which is what I believe he would have wanted to be remembered for.
Again, thank you for your kind messages you posted about him.
Jeff Baring
