I live in central Massachusetts and have been working on my family genealogy since the mid-June 2010. |
I enjoy photography and am enjoying walking around different cemeteries and taking pictures.
I have been to many cemeteries where the stones were old and could not be read or broken and in some cases missing. I want to use my camera to preserve this history for future genealogists.
I have also taken some photos in Old Swedish Cemetery and St. John's in Worcester, Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Milville, St. Joseph in Leicester, Center Cemetery in Douglas, and Old Howard Cemetery in Sutton.
If I post a memorial to your ancestor, I would be happy to transfer ownership over to you. I will not transfer ownership of my ancestors.

I have been searching for my grandfather's burial in Mass. it is in one of the "Old Swedish" cemeteries. There are two, I believe?
I believe this grave (66142949) might be his.
He died in Ohio, and his body was shipped to Mass for burial. I found the shipping arrangements to Mass, but don't have any info as to the grave plot number.
Several years ago when I called the funeral home, requesting info on his grave, they were very unhelpful.
Herman Walfred Peterson died when I was small, so probably this grave would be from about 1960 or so.
Can you get me contact info for the rectory/registrar there?
I am also a find a grave contributor.

Thank you so much, Jean; discovering the whereabouts of my beloved great-grandfather and great-grandmother has bee a great moment for me, and I plan to visit them the next time I visit their grandson, my father who is interred in Paxton. I appreciate you dedication and hard work! Jeff Johnson

You have Louisa Peterson buried in Old Swedish Cemetery, Worcester, Mass. Could you have mixed your cemeteries and/or pictures? All of your dates for Louisa and names of her parents and siblings are correct, but Louisa is buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, outside of Laurelville, Perry Twp., Hocking Co., OH. The picture's background also looks like Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
My ancestry is Sarah Elizabeth Friend md John Bailey who are buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery at South Perry, Perry Twp., Hocking Co., OH

Dear Jean, Moses Park is my 5th great grandfather. I found in my research that he is the son of Jonathan Park and Lucy Sibley. Does this match your records?

I just sent Jean Peterson an Email thanking her for the photo of the grave of my great grandmother. I have the original documents for Anna and her daughter, my grandmother and you can see them at seekonk.se
|Vicki Edwards||Edits for Nahor Fletcher|
I just sent you an edit re birth of Nahor Fletcher. I wanted you to know I'm working from the "Vital Records of Mendon, MA to the Year 1850" book compiled in 1920 by NEHGS (Boston), it's online in FamilySearch. I may have more edits, not sure. My connection to the Fletcher family is extremely distant as I'm working on my Staples line (my 4X Great Grandmother Deborah who married Joseph Marsh 1859). I was actually surprised to see Fletcher's in this cemetery with grave markers. Thank you for creating Nahor's memorial.

Sorry I forgot to leave the numbers
thank you again,
|Victoria Mounce||Error in spelling Whitting|
Victor, Katharina Witting are my G-G- Grandparents and Mary C and Emma M are my G-G-Aunts. The page itself has an error in the spelling of the last name. All are given the last name of Whitting on the page which is in error. The correct spelling is Witting which is on the headstones. Can this be corrected?

Jean, you already transferred those to me a while back. Maybe you messaged me by mistake?
