"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." (Kahlil Gibran)|
I love this website, and would especially like to thank all of you who visit the graves of my neighbor, Barry Rideout; my great-grandfather, Luigi Accursi; my cousins, Troy William Cole, Albert Tognarelli, and Bill Wessel; my chess partner, Peyton Russell "Russell" House; my other good friends, Carol Admire and Roberta Page; and the memorials I manage for Chico Mendes and Boris Nemtsov; as well as the other people in my cemeteries for chess players, poets, crossword pioneers, social and environmental activists, veterans, those who left this world too soon, and others dear to my heart!
In addition to the memorials of my loved ones, I especially want to encourage people to visit my VETERANS MEMORIAL and cemetery for SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS. All of the people "interred" in those cemeteries made major sacrifices so that the rest of us could live freely in a healthy environment; far too many of them made the ultimate sacrifice at heartbreakingly young ages. Sadly, few of them get very many flowers. Please show them some love and do what you can to ensure that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
God bless you all!

Kate..thank you very much for remembering my dear late dad, and Lynda Prunier. Her entire family is gone now,ans I don't see anyone from our class remembering her She died from a drunk driver T-boning her car with six kids in it just a couple of days before Thanksgiving. The kids were good kids, driving with due care. The man that killed 5 kids, and paralyzed 1 other from the neck down, got 5 years in Connecticut State Penitentiary. He's alive and well to this day nearing the end of his life in his 70s. Lynda was 17, and this drunkard was 27. He was 32 when he got out in 1977. I won't forget her as long as I'm alive.
