Bio

I am a retired United States Army First Sergeant and German/Russian linguist. I currently teach history, economics and political science at a small, rural high school in northwestern Ohio (My wife is an Ohio girl).

I am a seventh generation Texan, and a proud member of Sons of the Republic of Texas, San Jacinto Descendants, Sons of Confederate Veterans and, pending approval, Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.

My own often frustrating but oh-so-satisfying quest to track down my heritage and the incredible assistance provided by Find-A-Grave volunteers convinced me to become a photo volunteer. Moreover, I am recruiting my students to do the same by making the creation of memorials a possible major project.

I am willing to photograph markers in area codes 44882, 44883, and 45840.
