Bio

I'm a retired baseball writer who covered the Big Red Machine and the Louisville Colonels' teams that had Carlton Fisk, Dwight Evans, Ken Brett, Cecil Cooper, Tony Muser, etc. Since retiring on May 10, 1995, I've seen 1,696 pro baseball games through the 2013 season in 153 stadiums in 133 cities. I've also visited 27 presidential gravesites. My favorite cemeteries are Arlington National, Westwood in California and Cave Hill in Louisville. I enjoy the classic movies, the old serials, the old radio shows (Jack Benny, Our Miss Brooks, Suspense), the big bands and Perry Mason, Lucy, Jackie, Columbo, Poirot and Lawrence Welk on TV.
