i am obsessed with genealogy and family history in my old age (i have not worked or gone to school for about a year; got some software and have really thrown myself into this activity). Recently i went to Kentucky for a friend's child's wedding and got a chance to look at places where my mom's Lillard, Bright, Robinson and Berry families, and others, had lived and to find Lillard tombstones in the cemetery in Danville. Beside them i found Gentry tombstones, so i made a record of those, too, since "Gentry" is one of the names on my family tree. It has been very gratifying to search for records for the people who are related to me and to add to the information on findagrave.com. I hope the information may help others who might not otherwise have known where to find family graves or what dates of birth or death went with what family members. The help with photos is so much appreciated, although i did take some photos in pouring rain in Danville. The historical society people at the information office on Constitution Square were so very helpful to me, as was Erica at City Hall. i hope to continue to add to the body of information on findagrave. i live in Cupertino, CA, so help from KY and NC (where my father's family were) is a big deal to me! i am hoping to return to KY and hoping to also do some work in NC and MO looking for family graves there. My parents are buried in Fort Collins, CO, where i grew up, and i have added those, which gave me a good feeling. Thank you to everyone who has helped me.
