Have patience for photo requests for SE Michigan (or anywhere in Michigan, really) from November to March due to snow. We have had deep snow on the ground as late as mid-May here.

A few remarks about All Saints Cemetery in Waterford Twp., Oakland County, Michigan: the individual headstones are set flush with the ground. Some grass may appear around the edges of the markers in photos; I do my best to record all information on the marker in each photo, including military emblems.

A few remarks about Hartland Village Cemetery in Hartland, Livingston County, Michigan: several of the older headstones and monuments are made of marble and some are inscribed with sentiments in a fine, back-slanted type of lettering. These carvings were very shallow compared to names and dates, and are very hard to read. Some phrases are worn to nothing, others are now buried underground, as the stone has settled. I have included transcriptions if I can decipher the writing.

I've tried to designate all the veterans; please let me know through edits if I've missed anyone.
