Thus,I believe that memorials should report the information as it appears on the headstone in the cemetery; however, I will add family and vital information if it is sourced. I've had many friendly conversations with gravers who feel otherwise, but no loved one is honored if the community is inadvertently misled.

My headstone photos are freely available to the community as long as used for your family research and I am credited for my work. I do not own the copyright on any family photos unless otherwise indicated-use at your own risk!
