Born 8 March 1949 NYC, Grew up in the Bronx, Age 19, May 1968 enlisted US Army. After Basic & Combat Medic,( Air Assault Training Vietnam). Nov. 68-Dec.69 Assigned to 1/506 Airmobile Infantry (Currahee), 101st Airborne Divison (Screaming Eagle). (Camp Evans), May10-June7, 1969 (Operation "Apache Snow", FSB Currahee, AShau Valley Vietnam, On March 8, 1969 was awarded (Combat Medic Badge). Volunteer for 2nd & 3rd tour .1970-71 Combat Flight Medic assign to 159th Dustoff Det. Cu-Chi, Vietnam. 1971 Emergency room technician, Zama Hospital Japan. Student Leadership course, 8th Army NCO Academy, Korea. 1972-74, 5th Field Hospital Thailand. Dec. 1972, Was temporary assigned to Bob Hope USO Show as a Medical Attendant. 1974-75, 9th Infantry Division,Ft. Lewis, Wa. Paramedic Training Madigan Army Hospital, Wa. 1975-77 Surgical Technician School Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Assigned to 48th Medical Bn. 2nd Armored Div. (Served on the Honor Guard). Ft. Hood Texas.
