RE: Lorenzo Benjamin Burroughs
I was there. My best guess is - about 1/3 of the tombstones are missing or never put in. Knowing the history of Lorenzo and having 3 wives, he may never had a tombstone. You mentioned Lot 47 at Arena. What Block? Also what Block and Lot is Mary Pfanku Wells buried in? Often Lots were purchased and never used - there are many examples in the Mazomanie Cemetery. The following extremely reliable source puts him in the Lone Rock Cemetery: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~richlandwi/ Can you find a tombstone in Arena for him?

Sorry and best regards. Mike Rewey

Let's think about this one. The Richland County Death Records in Richland Center list his burial in Lone Rock. It looks like the Arena Cemetery is totally documented on Find A Grave, but Lone Rock is not. I am going to Lone Rock tomorrow for other reasons and will check that cemetery.

RE: May Brooks
You are very welcome. I also photographed her parents, which you may have noticed.

All of the Williams family-- including May, her brother George and her sister Alberta are buried in adjoining plots as well.

You are very welcome, glad I could help. It was even easier than you think because Carl and his wife were on the back of the Garvey marker, so only one stone involved! Thanks also for having the plot information, it's near impossible at this cemetery to find anyone without the plot. Best regards, Mindy
