I wish to thank everyone who left tokens on my husbands memorial. Sorry I could not thank everyone individually.|
The Lord called my husband home on June 3,2013.
Please stop by his memorial.
Frank Gordon Neely
I am a breast cancer survivor (since 2005). My cancer was stage three so I count myself very blessed.
I also have RA so my activities are limited sometimes. I have been working on my family history while I have time on my hands.
I live in Fort Worth TX. My Mother's family is from New Boston, Bowie County TX and my Dad's is from Groesbeck, Limestone County TX. My mother is an Alexander and my Dad is a Herod. I enjoy family history and old photographs and I find old cemeteries interesting.
We give our love ones back to God.
And just as He first gave them to us
and did not lose them in the giving,
so we have not lost them
in returning them to Him...
for life is enternal, love in immortal,
death is only a horizon...
and a horizon is nothing
but the limit of our earthly sight.

Thank you SO much for replying and the info. There is a Curtis McFail in my family tree. This person that I found on the internet through Google, who was in the military and is buried in TX, would have been alive around the time that my ancestor should have been. On a lark, I decided to search one day when I was on here for something else, and found your info on the same person. My handwritten family tree info lists a different person as the mother, Rebecca McFail. I HAVE found a census record of a Rebecca with a son, Curtis McFail, but they also lived in St. Louis. So maybe the person you shared is not him, but a relative (or not) with the same name. Thanks again, and God bless you and your family!

Hello Kay: What was the race/ethnic group of the McFail family, particularly Curtis McFail, whose info you shared? Thanks so much.

Thank you for creating the memorial for Alta Fay. I will take good care of it. Her mother was my dads sister. Thank you.

Hello Kay, the headstone for Mollie and Zeno is cracked right down the middle of the year for Mollie, but from what I could read it looks like 1868. I went back and found both in my personal an cestry tree and those dates are correct. I'm not sure about all the children and trying to verify with family. Thanks for the updates.

Would you mind if I used your photo of the abov's headstone to illustrate my family tree?
Thank you for taking the time and effort to let those of us in other parts of the world see the last resting place of our relatives.
