Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'am just an old retired Cowboy:
If there is anyway i can help someone just let me know, I'am a proud born again Christian who Loves Jesus with all my Heart, am willing to talk to anyone about Him, so if you just need to chat we will sit around the camp fire and Chat away, send me a msg.

"Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past." (Deuteronomy 32:7 "

"Speak the Truth in Love" (Ephesians 4:15)

Each one of us should always remember we are working with people's love and emotion, when dealing with their dearly departed- let's work together in kindness and say a Prayer along the way

Keep these words in mind as you pass thru a cemetery
"Remember me as you pass by, as you are now, so once was I. As I am now, you soon will be, spend well your time with God before it's your time to follow me."

My simple Cowboy Prayer:
Oh Lord, I reckon I'm not much.I fail a lot of things You know I ought to do. but when I make my last ride and get life's final call, my only hope will be, For me to hear You say " COME ON MY CHILD IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO RIDE WITH ME'

Here is my motto:
If one lives in the heart's of those they leave behind, With Jesus by their side, then truly they do not die, for they are not lost to memory! And never lost to love! But gone to be with our Father in His house above!

To the broken hearted who are left behind, we extend sympathy. We can only remind you that they are not dead, rather simply asleep-resting after a long and well-spent life here. Though they are gone their record has been made and is written in the Book of Life Which God will Open and read aloud someday, and their memory will remain with you a lasting treasure.

Thanks for the links to John. I put a "^" sign in the bio section when I have searched and not found into so that makes your info much more important.

Thanks for all the work and dedication to FG. Slick

RE: Martin F Baldwin
While I was at the Historical Society I looked up Martin Baldwin's obit and found that he married a Carol Miller Dec. 3, 1966 in Carson City, Nevada. Maybe she is Virgil's daughter. Don't know if that is any help but thought you'd like to know.

Thomas Vandiver?
Hi, Richard. We are connected through the Walker/Vandiver line.(I descend from Ella Vandiver & Fred Oslage.) Could you email me, please, at I have some questions about the memorial you created for Thomas Vandiver, memorial #114332252.

I believe you may have been in contact with my mother at some point in the past. Her name was Laura Ruth and I do know she talked to Judy T. many, many times. Hope to hear from you soon!

Love your picture,
and your message. I am from Texas for 4 and 5 generations on both sides. I think cowboys are some of the very best Americans. Thanks.

Kathy Kitchens
John L. Kitchens, Sr.
Hi Richard, this is Kathy Kitchens, we've spoken in the past. I just wanted to ask you to add one thing to your memorial for my great great grandfather, John L. Kitchens, please. He was first married to Patsey French in Kentucky in 1807, she must have died before he moved to Illinois because he married Mary (Polly) Rottan in 1810. Mary would be the wife of his children. He did name his first daughter after his first wife. You'll notice in the Texas census 1860 or 1870 that Patsey is 24 years younger than Charles. And in his will he names Patsey as his daughter. Thank you so much for all the work you put into Find A Grave. I appreciate it very much as I'm sure many people do. Keep up the good work and perhaps we shall talk again. Kathy

The Hixson Line
Thanks so much, Richard, for all your work on Find A Grave. You have been a tremendous help. I am researching the Hixsons for a friend of mine who was a Hixson. A lovely lady and a wonderful Christian. God bless.
