I was born exactly at sunrise on March 3. (year unspecified) Growing up in Eugene OR, I lived within walking distance of the Masonic and Pioneer Memorial Park Cemeteries. During the last six of my twelve years of school, the Pioneer Cemetery was my "short cut" to and from school. Thus a good many of the dates and names are committed to memory. Besides Taphophilia, my interests are Philately, Roses ( I presently own 46 living and breathing rose bushes, but this constantly changes) and my Great - Grandchildren. I am descended from the Herendeen, Dunn, Painter and Myers families. My Grandfather Painter was born to a Cherokee woman in Greenville SC in 1868.
