I was born in Missouri and now live in Arizona. I've also lived in New Mexico and Nevada. I'm the 2nd oldest of eleven children born to John and Dorothy Barnby. I'm married and have two children and six grandchildren. |
I've been doing genealogy research since the 1990's. Thanks to all those who have helped me along the way! Especially thanks to my parents who have passed down to me their legacy of family history, stories and memories. There's nothing more valuable to me than that, except for the unconditional love and caring that they gave to me. I decided to contribute to Findagrave because I believe that everyone deserves to be remembered. This is a great site to share with others and preserve family photos and history for future generations!
PHOTOS......If you use my photos elsewhere, please mention that you got them from Find A Grave......I've been adding my tree to Ancestry this year (2016), so I will eventually have all the photos on there also, plus more. If they come from Ancestry, they will automatically show me as the original source. The two trees I've created on Ancestry are: Barnby-Morgan Family Tree and Hubbard-Hodge Family Tree.

Linda I am your cousin, Ginger, from Kansas. Janice still lives in Humboldt, Jeanne in Chanute, Glenda in Parsons, and I live north of Erie. I am registered with Findagrave and hope to get started working with them soon. I have had a couple of requests, but they were at cemeteries with which I was unfamiliar. I would love to check out any in this area that you need. Mom and Dad are buried in Chanute. Your Grandma Barnby and Uncle Jim are buried in Noel. I think I may have a photo somewhere of their graves. Was in contact with your brother, John a few years ago. Had hoped to get back that way to visit, but cannot leave my husband on his own as he is 86 now and forgets to take his medicine and to eat when I am not here. Hope to hear from you as I miss the old days and the fun we used to have.

yes..it can be confusing when emotion is added to the time. It indicates William on everything I see.

I wish I could help, but I don't have the tombstone photo.
|Donna Roginski||Edward Goodnight|
Sorry. I don't have any tombstone photos. I did do the AncestryDNA, so we should be a match. firstname.lastname@example.org

Herbert A and Bernice B Barnby's home in Old Orchard (Toledo) was my childhood home at 3030 Kenwood Blvd. Beautiful place which (since we have left) has passed hands among a number of St. Francis deSales High School graduates. Barnby family members have always been welcome to visit and Donald W. Barnby visited for years when we lived there and he was in Toledo. Mrs. Barnby lived for year in Carriage House on Central Ave before moving to either California or Virginia. Herbert Barnby was a well regarded engineer at O-I.

I looked over the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Didn't find him, but I did find a William M Hodge married to a Mina. His b. 1877, d. 1955. Just off a year on birth and 10 on death. Maybe same person. Maybe not. Could be recorded wrong somewhere or listed wrong on grave. I have found some this way. Just wanted to let you know, just in case.
