Hello my name is David M. Atkinson. I was born in Vigo County. I was raised with 10 brothers and sisters, by our mother Norma Jean (Creasey) Atkinson. Our father was George F. Atkinson Sr. I married my Jr. High sweet heart Teresa G. (Michael) Atkinson. We have four loving children, and six beautiful grandchildren.|
My wife and I started doing Geneology about May of 2008. We enjoy looking up our ancestors in our spare time when we are not working. I have worked for the Vigo County school corp. for the past 26 years. We have took several photos of the grave stones, we would like to learn about the person within the stone. If I have taken any photos and you would like to contribute to contact me at my e-mail. Thank you David! Atkinson,Creasey,Mead,Waldon,Hyde,Romine.

I believe Jackie Lee Hanner, wife of Harold (Find A Grave #167 943 512)is buried in Poplar Grove Cemetery, in Washington Twp., Parke Co., IN. this cemetery is about one mile north of the village Marshall. About 7 lines from the bottom of posted obituary it says she is toe buried "at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Marshall." The Marshall here refers to the village of Marshall not to the County of Marshall which is pretty far north in Indiana. Best regards, Larry Seits

You were kind enough to get this photo for me a few years ago. Would it be ok with you if I used the photo on my Ancestry page for Clyde? Did't want to use it without your permission.
Thanks in advance,

James Cliff Nichols #99636411 is listed as being buried at Clearview in Brazil, Indiana. He is buried at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The family had requested a picture and the grave could not be located at Clearview. I found the information in the Tribune Star.
Have a great day!
Thank you for the transfer it means a lot to me

Hi David! Can you please accept the edits I sent? Thanks!
Please accept the maiden name edit for Fannie Pierce. Her maiden name was Kellams and I wish to update her memorial. Thanks!

Hi, I had placed Charles & Edith from an interment record in Feb of 2012. Would you mind putting your photo on my site and deleting yours? This was brought to my attention by someone, as the spelling are different so you wouldn't have known it was already at Sugar Grove. If a relative, I will gladly delte mine. geraldine

Thank-you for linking George to his mother. I did a day's research on this family and learned things I didn't know. So happy to have George with his sisters and mother now. George's wife was Grandpa's first cousin.
I should write about George's life a little later on. Pinkie promise.
