I have been actively volunteering since 1987 in many different ways. Before that I was busy being a mother and that kept me busy. In 1987, I started a career as a teacher, and after school I decided to choose one student a year to tutor for free, who needed help, whose parents might not be able to afford it. I did that all of my teaching career. Meanwhile, I discovered findagrave. and now I volunteer at my 55 and older community where I keep very busy.
