Currently I am researching the history of driving cattle east out of Texas to the New Orleans livestock market.I have found the diary of William B. Duncan to be very interesting and helpful.
I am a retired investigator for the state of Texas. I enjoy traveling the old trails and seeing the landmarks drovers mentioned in their diaries kept while driving herds. I also locate and visit the graves of the old trail drivers.
