I love this web site, I love reading what people have written about their loved ones. Many have touched my heart. My dad passed away in 1992 and then my mother passed away in 2003.
When we were kids my mom would take us to Beavertown Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio. It is a small cemetery, and all around it was a barbed wire fence and all along the fence there were blackberry bushes. We would pick the berries so mom could make homemade jelly. Even on a hot day it was nice and cool. Always smelled of cut grass and fresh flowers. I loved to go there.
When I'm in a cemetery even today it seems like time has stood still. Everything is familiar the peaceful feeling, the same smells, the cool breeze.

Thanks to my Mom for my love of family and for those that came before us. My Grandma for telling me when I was a little girl not to stand on her Daddy's grave. I still stand off to the side as she taught me to do.

Thank you Grandma for all of your help. Without you we wouldn't know where we came from.

My roots are from the following family names: Buehler, Stein, Ankeney, Fogwell, and Greene.
