Thanks so much for adding the photo of Arthur from the newspaper clipping. He was my 2nd cousin 3 times removed. Not a close family tie but he is remembered with pride as one who gave his life in the service of his country.

Charles Robert Timms
Greetings: Thankyou for finding the picture of C.R. Timms. I hope you don't mind, but I took a copy of it for my family tree files. I have been researching my husbands family for awhile now. There is a cousin also on the Vimy Monument, a Cecil Smith Timms, which is a cousin to Charles Robert Timms, from the Nottingham line.
Charles Robert Timms enlisted after his wife died of childbirth in 1915. He had 2 twin daughters, 1 died a few days after her mother, and the other was taken by the wife's family and raised as a Heath and not a Timms. She married and had a son, and is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Toronto, along with her husband, Peter Matthews.
CR Timms is my husbands great-granduncle.

Just noticed the news clipping you added to Clarence Norman Guynup's memorial. While subscribe to several services of old American newspapers, don't have access to Canadian papers. Thank you so much!
