I'm Lillian's fifth and last surviving child. She was a wonderful mother; a woman of great principle who inspired all of us to live lives of faith and honor. Ruth, Joe and Sam were her children by Rev. John Long. Ina, Una and I were her children by Forest Hurlbert, whom she married several years after she was widowed. Mother and all of my siblings are gone now, but in addition to myself, she is survived by 18 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and whose lives were impacted by her life in a mighty way.
