I create these memorials for 1 purpose only, that our ancestors may never be forgotten. Do this not only for my own ancestors, but others as well. I look at it this way. The memorials I create here don't belong to me, they belong to Find A Grave, and the people related to them. Kind of a public service, if you like. Personally, Find a grave could be your "1 stop shop" for genealogy, if you could find all you need on here. The links are great if used properly. Places to post death certificates, pictures, markers, Bios, ect. There are a lot of nice people on here that try their best to please the relatives of their memorials. If you see ANYTHING on a memorial I created that needs changed, by all means let me know through a SAC, that way I'll know which memorial I'm dealing with. DEATH CERTIFICATES are ALLOWED by Find A Grave. OBITS are ALLOWED, as long as sources are quoted, which handles the copyright matter. If you submit one for a relative to me, the living shall be edited out, as required by Find A Grave. If you would like to manage any memorial I have created, just request it through a SAC, and if there is no conflict with being relations to me, I'll usually grant the request. You can only manage so many memorials properly. Genealogy is for everyone interested enough to look their relatives up, and I think it should be free to be accessed by all. Anything I post will be public domain as far as I am concerned, whether it be photo of marker or death certificate, or personal photos. Use them as you wish to, no copyrights involved. JAMES E. TATE
