Bio and Links
Growing up in Utah and a member of a very religous family, I have always known about the names of my ancestors but not always the stories. Between Find a Grave and a few other sites, I have been able to collect stories and pictures of not only my family but my husband's as well. When I started the research for my husband's family, I started with his grandfather's name only and have since been able to find pictures and records showing where his family immigrated to America. I miss his grandfather and am grateful I had the chance to get to know him over 13 years of marriage to his grandson.

I've used Find a Grave as a tool for research for years but only signed up to help when my mother passed away 2 months ago. I know that I am lucky to have my mother's grave close to my home and am quite aware that there are many out there without the same luxury. I feel that it is best to share the information that I have found with others and I feel that Find a Grave is a great place to share since it combines so much information into one page for all to see.

Thank you so much
Dear Stacey. I was surprised and happy this morning when I seen you had transferred my cousin Roy Garn to me. I have added his obituary and a person experience on his memorial. I hope you have time to check it out. Thanks again...

Memorial 93089199 - Betty Jeanne Chipman
Hi Stacey,

Betty Jeanne was my grandmother. Could you possibly transfer her to me? Also, her obituary listed her viewing at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, but she is buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, SLC, UT 84102. Is it possible to correct this?

Wrong cemetery for Meeks, David Keith
Original Interment: American Fork Cemetery.
Disinterred and Re-interred: Highland Cemetery on November 29, 2007.

Might want to added the following obituary.

David Keith Meeks, 23, died June 2, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born October 11, 1973 in Salt Lake City, the son of Forrest K. and Connie J. Whittaker Meeks. It was a warm October morning in the Salt Lake Valley the day our son came into this world. The leaves had fallen and little gusts of wind would seep through them and you could feel a little winter season in the air. He was born two months premature.Dave was very special to us and his five sisters: Jeannie Meeks of Royayton, CT; Jamie Clark (Ken) of Sandy; Janette Kelly (Pat) of West Valley; Jody Nielson (Dave) of Holladay; Julie Meeks of Highland; his grandmother, Lou Jean Whittaker of Logan; many aunts, uncles and friends.

Dave fought a valiant battle for life after sustaining injuries from a work related accident. He received the Eagle Scout award and graduated from the LDS Seminary. He served a full time mission to the Detroit Michigan area from 1993 to 1995. He was employed with the family business, a hard and dedicated worker throughout.

He touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed by those who came to know him.

We wish to thank so many for their prayers, love and faith, that have helped sustain us in our time of need.

Funeral Services will be Friday, 11 a.m. in the Highland Stake Center, 9600 North 6800 West, Highland, Utah. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the church one hour prior to services.

Obituary published in the Salt Lake City, Utah newspaper, Deseret News, on June 3, 1997.

Original Interment: American Fork Cemetery.
Disinterred and Re-interred: Highland Cemetery on November 29, 2007.

Thanks, John.

Oh No - You're not included in the Junior Member category. You've done quite a bit of time in the Trenches.

Hey Stacey,
The Grandson of this fella was at my house last night. He was impressed with the work you have accomplished on his Grandfathers behalf.
He's on an LDS mission from Georgia.

I'm going to obtain the plot location and submit an Edit for Eugene & Spouse. Then I'm going to request a stone photo. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to be involved in this. I usually let the junior Find A Grave members do photo submissions, "It builds Character" LOL.

Aside from that, I'm usually on a photo run (inventory) shooting 100 to 300 stone photos per day.

Harold David Foote, memorial 126421758
Stacey, the obituary showing in the biography section on memorial 126421758 is for the person for whom memorial 84842775 was created. I knew Mr. Foote; he died in 1959.

This is a duplicate memorial. I have memorial #16929972 which has her headstone, etc. If you would like to delete your memorial for her, I will transfer her memorial over to you to manage. Just shoot me an email or put in a request and I'd be happy to do that.
