I have been working on my family history since about 1978. I live in Terre Haute, Indiana, and I currently write the Sunday "Genealogy" column for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star. I am a member of the Clay County Genealogical Society, the Wabash Valley Genealogy Society, and the WVGS Cemetery Committee.|
If I have a memorial of your relative that you would like transferred to you, please contact me.
If you have any additions or corrections to make to one of my memorials, please click on the "edit" button of the memorial.
About my photographs. If you would like a copy of any cemetery marker that I have photographed, simply ask, and I will send you a copy. You may use the copy for yourself and share with immediate family members. I will not give permission for anyone to use any of the photos I own to add to Ancestry.com, where it will become part of a pay-per-view database and will be open to theft by anyone who uses that site. The personal photos of my family and pets that I own are not to be duplicated without my permission. These are from family photo albums and are not to be placed in family trees that end up on Ancestry. If you are related, please contact me. I have no problem sharing. Please respect my choice not to have photos that I take for free, as a volunteer, with the intention of helping others, placed on a for-profit web site. Thanks.
If you like animals, visit my pet cemetery. Some kind individuals have sponsored the memorials of my cats. Thanks again to them.

|MSP||Minerva Olive Gray|
I saw that you manage the memorial for Minerva Olive Gray (she is my 3rd great grandmother)... I'm not sure if you're related or not, but I was wondering if you know what the inscription on her stone means? Or what the faded symbol in the center is? I never knew anyone from that side of my family, so I haven't anyone to ask. Her great grandson Albert "Gene" Gray was my biological grandfather, but I never met him and no one in my family knows anything about him.

You have Charles buried in Harmony Cemetery, Memorial # 69154636. Charles is buried in Highland Lawn Cemetery and has a tombstone.
|Gregg and Debra (Martin) Schrader||Greek Catholic Cemetery, Indiana|
You have confused two cemeteries.
#40429627 Elizabeth Durkos, #40429663 Mary Pankaski and #40429629 Samuel Balduzzi are buried in the Greek Catholic Cemetery.
I drove to the Greek Catholic Cemetery and wrote down all the names on the headstones. The cemeteries are close but are not the same. I would be glad to meet at the Greek Catholic Cemetery.
Greek Catholic Cemetery Location Description: Dick Johnson Township in Caseyville 1/2 Mile SW of Diamond, Indiana. About 2 miles north of Perth. Entering on left side of lane the is Mager Cemetery Entering on right side of lane is the Greek Catholic Cemetery. It is managed by Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil, Indiana. Many years ago half of the cemetery was sold to the Mager family.
